Trump-Pence- represent

Here we are,  a year into the Trump presidency. Some thoughts have been rattling around my brain for awhile now . As I was getting ready for bed last night, God gave me some deeper revelations and showed me a bigger picture on it all.

In the Fall of 2016, I was studying revelation when Trump was running with Pence on his ticket for the Presidency/Vice Presidency. I started looking at the name. I was at my gym thinking about the fall feasts of the Lord, specifically Rosh Hashana. The news was playing on a screen in the distance and It jumped out at me: Trump/Pence. The announcement of Mike Pence running as VP on the ticket had been known to me for at least a few weeks at this point, but the greater message hadn't reached me until this moment... We have a Trump Pence ticket!...I realized the linguistics of it should have had my attention much  earlier. Trumpets...of course!  Trump-Pence. I realized God IS at this point in his story giving us a  warning, because he's brilliant.  This presidency is a warning , Trumpets are blowing. Can you see it, can you hear it? You are being warned ahead of time. For those who have ears to hear.

I watched in horror as Trump steam rolled over 17 other well spoken and intelligent republicans to the ballot. Trump wasn't eloquent; he was boastful. He didn't seem to grasp or understand  the nuances of some of the more difficult issues contended for in the current culture. He certainly couldn't hold a civil argument about things without resorting to childish name calling.  His vocabulary  seemingly limited to like 15 words ...."beautiful, Huge, amazing, fantastic, terrific,  Great, loser" You get the picture. But I still voted for him. In the most basic way, he seemed to have some instincts the democratic party was light years away from.  As awful as his personality was, I'd still vote for him over any democrat today.

More than a year later, I've heard the democrats  mock him endlessly. They taunt his ideas, his speech, his looks, He is so grotesque to the country, He is so hated by it's citizens, it's media, it's hollywood elite. More than half of our country absolutely HATES this man. I have literally heard people who preach tolerance and love for all tell me "I just HATE him". He is despised like no other. I'm not sure if even Hitler was hated more.

During the last year, we all  watched  #metoo unfold as Hollywood elites, media stars, and beyond became exposed for their nefarious immoral deeds. The polished, wealthy media elite were exposed as a  bunch of immoral  hypocrites. But the hatred of Donald didn't end, we're in full gear assault as I write this. Just this week,  a proposed panel was put together by CNN to assess from afar Trumps mental fitness; to which "The Donald" tweeted  his own defense: 

"My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart,"


I started to realize, and I've commented many times over the last year. Trump perfectly represents us, who we are as a country today. And last night the Lord dropped some big picture stuff on me....

We go on and on about our disgust for Donald Trump and his transgressions....do you know that God looks at us the same way when we are far from him and His ways. Even when we're running to him while clinging to our sins. When we are floating on a river of our own vile sin floating farther and farther away from Him, or paddling after him with the weight of our sin holding us back. ..He see's us...and we are ugly...orange skinned, hair flapping in the wind, dumb look on our faces, saying the stupidest stuff. You are Donald Trump to the Lord. That is why He picked Donald Trump, He is a reflection of America...of us...of you Trump hater, you who who absolutely hate him, you are a hypocrite. And what do we do when God looks at us with disgust...how do we respond?? The same way "The Donald" does!! We are so smug about our own foolish thoughts...we think we know better, we believe we are smart when we're utter fools. But God knows we're fools, we're not fooling Him. You in your smug intellectual state, you look about as stupid to the Lord as Donald Trump appears to you...just think about that...and get worried...because you aren't God.

God has sounded the trumpets, wake up. You WILL be judged by the measure you yourself judge- Matthew 7:2 Trump is president for a reason, he reflects us. We might actually be mystery babylon for all I know. God is trying to get your attention and humble you. And humbling you is about as difficult as humbling Donald J Trump. Don't let that be the case anymore. Be humbled and be saved from your own foolishness.
