Gotcha!

I’m by the resort pool trying to read a book and these two little Italian tan skinned east coast 12 year olds with braces , let’s call them Bada bing and Bada Bang, well they’re in the shallow end of the pool near me trying to trick everyone that walks by like your typical 12 year old might ...”Excuse me sir, you dropped your dollar”, as some puzzled looking stranger looks behind himself confused before they continue where ever it was they were headed to. Then these two knuckleheads just cackle and say something highly inappropriate to each other involving a mans intimate parts. Old lady comes waltzing by...”excuse me mam, you dropped your dollar”. They said this same stupid line to at least 14 people waltzing by. I’m watching the whole stupid thing like it’s an episode of jersey shore Beavis and Butthead.

 Finally, I notice one of these kids is wearing a thick gold chain with a cross on the front of it; so  I say “Hey kid, is that your gold necklace at the bottom of the pool?” He looks panicked for a second as he looks at the pools bottom while simultaneously reaching for the precious gold chain around his neck to find it’s still on him. He just looks at me and I smile and pat my own back a few times and say “gotcha”. I might as well just go to bed, this day has been a success.
