Covid days

Church leaders: In the last 4 months, your flocks were legally mandated to isolate themselves and stay home. They were told they weren’t essential. They were accused of being selfish if they met with friends and family. Told they were selfish if they didn’t isolate. Many lost their jobs and their businesses. They were told they were contagious even if they weren’t sick. Told they were responsible for the death of others for simply breathing. Accused of being selfish unless they cover their face (when do we hide our faces?? When we’re ashamed!!). Then they’re shamed for walking the wrong way in the grocery store and not perfectly following all these new social rules that get added on the daily to shame people. This is just what some of your flock have been through.

Some have marital issues, addiction issues, issues with family members dying when they can’t even be at their bedsides with them. The list goes on and on. Isolation isolation isolation, Accusation accusation accusation, shame shame shame, Division division division. And JUST as some churches finally start opening after we’ve been through ALL that....your tired, beat up , flocks just hoping to worship together again..., to not be isolated, not be accused, not be shamed, not be DIVIDED. So what do you do?? Ya’ll ADD ANOTHER yolk of shame around their necks. You accuse them of being racists!! Why?? Because this corrupt culture tells you to. Because the devil lied, so y’all took the devils baton and ran with it.

Don’t we know the difference between the voice of our Shepherd and satan by now?! C’mon church leaders, don’t let Satan direct your churches. Ive been told by a church leader ( not mine) I was “tone deaf” to the culture right now ( have we forgotten what the last 4 months have been like?!) . Some of y’all are so blind by your own need to virtue signal, you’re missing the temperature of your flocks...they’re sick pastors, they need healing. Bring the gospel. Bring Jesus. We don’t need cultural hashtags and justification for lawlessness , we need Jesus.

Believers: your SHEPHERD is Jesus, not your pastor. Go to His Word and immerse yourselves in it. There is great healing and instruction in His Word, He's there waiting for you.
