Pro parenting privilege

Pro parenting tip: My twins are 13...when they were 11 they got BB guns...one MAJOR rule I taught them was “stay in the fenced in back yard with your BB gun, never leave our fenced in backyard with it...if you do, someone may call the police on you and they won’t know if it’s a real gun or not and will shoot you dead for the safety of others , and they’ll be right to do so cause there’s a lot of crazy in this wold and they don’t know you from Adam.” They never left our yard. They’ve seen protest videos of people screaming obscenities and hitting people’s cars, I said “if y’all EVER act like that and I find out, You better hope you deal with the police and not me, they’ll mace you and rightly arrest you, I’ll straight up smack you into 2021. “ We’ve watched videos of cops arresting people in bad situations and people resisting arrest and all kinds of craziness. I said it sucks to get arrested, it might happen to you if you mess up, and if it does...you NEVER resist arrest...NEVER. You get caught doing something dumb or illegal, you go to jail. That’s Gods way of straightening you out. You run or fight a cop or steal his taser or gun...you’ll be dead, and they’ll be within their rights.” Please please PLEASE teach your kids this. You teach your kids to fight cops and act like a fool, you endanger the police officers, your kids , and your entire community. Teach them. I feel like we failed our kids here somewhere watching all these young fools running around these days. Anyone who teaches this to their kids will have privileged kids, I don’t care what color your hair, eyes, or skin is. Don’t care how much money you have. You want your kids to have privilege?? Teach them these things.
