Gold Crown

So the gold medal round we played today was three games. We got smoked in the first game, like 11/2??. I played SO SOOO terrible that game!! I was actually embarrassed we’re there playing for a gold medal with a crowd watching and that was all I had! So I started praying and envisioning the day I’d be walking on streets of gold with the Lord and envisioned a gold crown on my head and started to get in “fight for it” mode. I just kept telling myself “dont let these Ohio people take your gold crown from you Jen, fight!”. We ended up smoking them the second game and winning the third for the gold. So I’m telling my husband this story about how I had to change my thinking and I started envisioning wearing a gold crown and blah blah blah. He’s listening to this story while he’s checking out the medal...he flips it over and guess what it says?!?! Of course it says “crown” cause that’s how awesome God is 🙂 🙂
